Shopping for handcrafts and bargaining in the north of Lanzarote
In contrast to other markets, the art of bargaining is very widespread and this has probably contributed to its popularity as it allows market goers to get everything at the best possible price. Pottery, leather goods, wickerwork, clothes, wine, cheese, fruit, it’s all here. Besides, the local music groups, the warm sunshine, the white of the traditional houses, the bars, cafes and restaurants open for breakfast or lunch all add to this very pretty picture, one which you cannot afford to miss.
